VENOMBASE – TERMS OF USE

1. AGREEMENT & BOOKINGS

By making a booking with Venombase, you agree to the following terms.

  • The person making the booking must be 18 years or over.

  • Under 18s are permitted only with parent/guardian consent, and staff must be informed upon arrival.

  • All visitors must sign in using the Visitors Book.

  • The person making the booking is responsible for all individuals in their group, including their behaviour and any damage caused.

Venombase equipment must not be used without prior permission. Any misuse or damage will be the responsibility of the person who made the booking.

All sessions must end on time. You must:

  • Begin packing down 10 minutes before the end of your session

  • Leave the room clean and tidy

Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

Equipment must be pre-booked and cannot be guaranteed if not requested in advance.

2. HEALTH, SAFETY & SAFEGUARDING

All users must behave in a safe and respectful manner while on the premises.

  • Any hazards, damage, or unsafe conditions must be reported immediately.

  • Under 18s must be appropriately supervised at all times.

  • Venombase reserves the right to refuse entry or end a session where behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate.

3. PAY IN ADVANCE (PIA) BLOCK BOOKINGS

  • Payment must be made at the start of your first session.

  • To continue block bookings, payment must be made at the beginning of your final booked session.

FREE hours:

  • Are non-transferable

  • Capped at a maximum of 3 hours

  • Will automatically be redeemed once the threshold is reached

  • Must be used within 3 months of your last booking or will expire

4. CANCELLATIONS & PAYMENTS

Rehearsals & Tuition

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booking

  • If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the full session fee will be payable

Recording, Artist Development & Filming

  • A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booking

  • If less than 7 days’ notice is given, the full booking fee will be payable

Late Payments

Late payments may incur reasonable administrative charges.

5. RECORDING PROJECTS & STEMS

  • Requests for stems must be made by the original bill payer in writing

  • A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice is required

  • Turnaround times will be confirmed, up to a maximum of 30 days

Recording projects must be completed within 12 months of the first payment. Any work requested after this period will be charged at the studio’s standard rates.

6. LOYALTY CARD

  • Valid for one individual, band, or group only

  • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer

  • Must be completed within 4 consecutive weeks

Venombase reserves the right to:

  • Refuse invalid or unauthorised entries

  • Amend or withdraw the scheme with reasonable notice

7. DAMAGE & CLEANING

  • Any existing damage must be reported immediately upon arrival

  • Failure to report may result in you being held responsible

You are responsible for:

  • Any damage to equipment, fixtures, or premises

  • The full cost of repair or replacement within 7 days

Unreported spillages may incur a £25 cleaning charge.

8. STORAGE

Storage is provided at your own risk.

Venombase is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to stored items except where caused by our negligence.

  • Equipment must be clearly labelled

  • Items must be collected within 30 days of your last booking

  • Storage charges may apply after this period

We strongly recommend all stored equipment is insured.

9. VEHICLES & PERSONAL PROPERTY

Vehicles and personal belongings are left at your own risk.

Venombase will not be responsible for loss or damage unless caused by our negligence.

10. REFUNDS

Payments are generally non-refundable.

However, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. Refunds will be provided where:

  • Required under UK consumer law

  • Venombase is unable to provide the agreed service

11. LIABILITY

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

Venombase will not be liable for:

  • Loss of income, profits, or indirect losses

12. DATA PROTECTION

We collect and use your personal information only for:

  • Managing bookings

  • Communicating with you regarding your sessions

Your data will:

  • Not be sold or shared with third parties

  • Be stored securely

  • Be retained only as long as necessary

You have the right to request access to or deletion of your data.

13. GENERAL

Venombase reserves the right to update these terms where necessary. Updated terms will be made available through our usual communication channels.
